Rooted in family
A good card game has always been more than the cards.
It’s the familiar names, the friendly competition, and the people sitting around the table. Waraq-Khana is being built as a welcoming digital home for games played by Persian and Afghan families.
Our digital variants are shaped by family guidance. We keep each game’s identity, explain the choices, and make room for the next generation to learn.

Once the app is installed, the seven card games and Chaka have offline matches with bots, and Carrom has offline free practice. Online tables require an internet connection. The browser alpha needs a connection to load; it does not offer an offline download.
Choose Online in the game menu for Quick Match, private groups and server-bot matches. Friends can join a private group with its invite code. Scored online Carrom offers two-player singles and four-player doubles; Thirteen and Chaka fill remaining seats with bots when two or three people play.
Use a recent browser and allow the initial game download to finish. A larger screen or landscape phone gives the cards room to stay readable. The launcher explains unsupported browsers and offers a retry if loading fails.
The app has English, Farsi, and Pashto presentation options. Native terminology and translations continue to receive family and speaker review.
Family and regional variants differ. Waraq-Khana uses documented digital variants, with rules guides inside the app. Send feedback if your table plays differently.
